Negro Angelo

Negro Angelo

The Negro family has been cultivating vineyards on the Roero hills since 1670, enhancing this splendid corner of Piedmont.

The vineyards and cellars of the Negro Angelo and Figli farm are located between Monteu Roero and Canale, where the hills stretch out more majestically towards the sun: almost fifty hectares of vineyards, which favor the traditional varieties of the area: Arneis, Favorita, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Bonarda and Brachetto. They grow in the positions best exposed to the sun, on limestone soils of alluvial origin that vary from hill to hill. The different soils and microclimates give rise to wines that are very well-defined and full of character. Thanks to the passion of Giovanni Negro and his children, Gabriele vineyards manager, Angelo the winemaker, Emanuela foreign manager, Giuseppe commercial manager and his wife Marisa, there are now numerous awards that have recognized the personality of these wines.
