Arcass: here is the Arneis Passito from Cascina Chicco! The name indicates one of the athletic gestures of the "Balon", the most traditional sport of these hills. The Arcass, the sprout, expresses the indomitable peasant pride, capable of responding, blow after blow, to any difficulty.
The main sweet sparkling wine, born in 1991.It was a successful bet, that of wanting to make a high quality sparkling wine. Its cheerful foam brightens the atmosphere of any party and the toast is also intriguing as an apéritif, cocktail and after a meal.Intense, clean with notes of citrus, white flowers (acacia and lime), peach, honey and caramel. Full, balanced, sweet but fragrant, thanks to its marked acid content with a pleasant bitter aftertaste.
The bowed wine was born at the end of the last century in Dr. Cappellano's pharmacy in Serralunga d'Alba and the first producers were the pharmacists of the various villages of the Langa area. In a short time, it became a mythical elixir with extraordinary properties, surrounded by the right aura of mystery that covered the secret formulas with which it was produced. With these premises, it first spread as a medicinal elixir among peasant families and then, slowly, as a flavored wine, obtaining acclaim almost everywhere and also becoming the flag of leading wine houses.
Slightly lively mousse, light ruby red color reminiscent of strawberry, rose, raspberry and
blue raspberry. In the mouth it is sweet and harmonious, with a pleasant acid note.
