Michele Chiarlo
For Michele Chiarlo, the vineyard is something alive, an experience to be lived.
Since 1956, Michele Chiarlo has been making wine the essence of Piedmont. 110 hectares of vineyards are cultivated between Langhe, Monferrato and Gavi, the best crus in full compliance with ecological criteria, the terroir and their expressions. Michele in the 1960s was among the first producers to believe in the success of Italian wine abroad. In fact, it beats the Northern European and American markets, gaining the trust of importers and consumers all over the world.
Enhance the quality of Barbera and with it, Monferrato. This is the dream of Michele Chiarlo who, among the first, makes a Barbera with malolactic fermentation. An adult, stable wine, whose rusticity, can be the raw material of wines of exceptional international stature. To date, Michele, Stefano and Alberto Chiarlo continue to work following the tradition of a family winery with an international scope.
