Umberto Vermouth is a vermouth for meditation and after a meal.It is said that in 1786, the Savoys severed the production of Rosolio throughout the Kingdom of Sardinia: a bottle of Vermouth had arrived on their tables.Dedicated by Domenico Ulrich to King Umberto I, of severe character and military virtue, it is revealed for its austere character, but incredibly drinkable, fascinating, for meditation or after a meal.Full, vibrant, rich, it is distinguished by the bittering notes of china and hyssop. Uniqueness of Umberto is the refinement of botanicals: after extraction of the essences, the dyes remain 6 months in wood for aging, a technique that gives intense color and wonderful balsamic, roundness of body and velvety tannins.
The Marolo Chinato is the result of an old family recipe. Is it produced by mixing aromatised wines with infusions of herbs and spices such as cinchona, rhubarb, gentian, coriander, cinnamon, cloves and more, which make it very fragrant and perfect as an aperitif or as a digestive liquor. A long ageing in small oak barrels gives this liquor its distinctive elegant and harmonic taste.

The bowed wine was born at the end of the last century in Dr. Cappellano's pharmacy in Serralunga d'Alba and the first producers were the pharmacists of the various villages of the Langa area. In a short time, it became a mythical elixir with extraordinary properties, surrounded by the right aura of mystery that covered the secret formulas with which it was produced. With these premises, it first spread as a medicinal elixir among peasant families and then, slowly, as a flavored wine, obtaining acclaim almost everywhere and also becoming the flag of leading wine houses.
