Description

Renetta apples are grown and harvested at the Mariangela Prunotto farm in Alba and are processed a few hours after harvesting. Cooked with the sole addition of cane sugar to obtain a completely natural compote in accordance with the Piedmontese tradition.

The method of working in the open air "is the classic method used since ancient times for the preservation of fruit. The fruit, in fact, after being carefully cleaned and washed, is simply cooked in the pot with the addition of cane sugar only.
